Relationships are complicated and problems in relationships are often deeply
rooted. For meaningful progress to be made, commitment along with
consistent fortnightly meetings with me are necessary.

 

Many couples rarely talk about their relationship. It can be hard to find the time and space. Committing to couples therapy is a great way to prioritise your relationship.

Why Reach Out To Me?

There are many reasons why people seek couples counselling. Some of the more common reasons are lack of intimacy, trust, communication, sex. You may be arguing a lot and feel you are not being heard and understood by the other person, leaving you feeling frustrated and disconnected.

I can provide a safe, trustworthy space for couples to discuss their issues and concerns, to help find solutions to problems within their relationship.

We will work on the immediate problems, where your past will be used to help understand what is going on in the present. Previous learnt ways of communicating and relating could be standing in the way of meeting your partner in a healthy and positive way today.

By obtaining tools and skills, you will both be able to communicate better, negotiate your differences, problem solve and even disagree in a healthier way.

You can expect to find a deeper connection with your partner, and resolutions that are enriching and meaningful.

Each relationship is unique, and we will let you take the lead in what you would like the relationship to be like, with our expertise in overcoming the obstacles to get you there

What is Couples Counselling?

Couples Counselling, helps two people understand each others' point of view, to resolve conflicts and improve their relationship.

Couples Counselling can also help you prepare for the long term before you make a commitment.

You don't need to have a troubled relationship to seek therapy.  Couples Counselling can also help couples who simply want to strengthen their bonds and gain a better understanding of each other.

There is nothing we haven’t heard before, so you can feel safe in bringing your full selves to the sessions in the knowledge that we will make it as safe and comfortable for you as possible.
